Framingham Fire received the master box for 46 Gordon Street in the early hours of the morning on November 5. Engine Co. 3 only a short distance away quickly reported fire showing as they passed on an adjacent street. Engine 3 arriving on scene reported fire showing from the 1st floor and gave a working fire. Engine 5 and Rescue 1 shortly after reported that they were stuck at the downtown railroad crossing by a long, slow moving freight train. Car 2 arriving on scene took command an ordered a 2nd Alarm. Fire was in a 1 story building attached to a very large 3 story wood frame OMD. Framingham companies were able to make a great stop and contain the fire to the 1 story attached. The heavy fire was knocked down prior to the 4 minute ride from home but heavy smoke could be seen for some distance. Southborough, Sudbury, Wayland and Natick covered Framingham's stations.
*Photographer Note: One of the first cold nights I've ventured out in and the camera was pretty picky about cooperation. Also not too much outside working going on, reason for only small amount of photos.*
