Newton Firefighters responded to Box 335 for a fire at 31 Sterling Street. Arriving companies reported heavy smoke showing and the fire quickly overtook the attic. Access to the fire was extremely difficult from several knee walls and void spaces from past construction. The fire was brought under control after several hours of tough work.
